It has been updated with more current statistics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sure, there are certainly many people who have a tough time being successful in the mortgage industry, and many Loan Officers have received a bad rap some years especially, but for the most part that doesn\u2019t seem to matter\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On jobs2careers.com, the loan officer career has been searched over 100,000 times in the month of October 2017. Loan Officer ranks 14th best business job according to the US News and World Report job list. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/money.usnews.com\/careers\/best-jobs\/loan-officer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">https:\/\/money.usnews.com\/careers\/best-jobs\/loan-officer<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to a 2015 study by CareerBliss.com, Loan Officers have the 3rd most satisfying \u201cmiddle market\u201d professions in the country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The study consisted of analyzing data from more than 25,000 responses from CareerBliss website users, who were asked to rate their job satisfaction on a scale of one to five in seven categories.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Those categories were:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Who they work under<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Colleagues<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The amount of support they receive<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Any rewards they receive for a job well done<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Available growth opportunities<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Company culture<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How they do their job<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How daily tasks are handled<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After all responses were taken into consideration, Loan Officers reaching the number 3 spot.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although Loan Officers tend to work long hours, a large majority reported feeling an overwhelming satisfaction for helping people realize their dreams, whether it is purchasing a home or starting a business.
